Emily Johnson serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the New Lenox Chamber of Chamber. She has been a member of the New Lenox community since 2012 and been with the Chamber since February 2013.
Emily has a BS in Public Relations from Illinois State University and a strong background in event and meeting coordination. Emily also has experience with chamber management. Her unique background gives her insight on what makes a successful chamber. She has worked tirelessly to expand the membership and create stronger connections between current members since taking on the responsibilities as CEO of the NLCC. She also served as a Village Trustee for the Village of New Lenox from 2014-2017.
Emily is passionate about her role at the Chamber and its impact on the community. “The best part about working for the Chamber is being able to help directly benefit the community I call home. I’m able to help businesses achieve success. Having strong, thriving businesses helps create a strong, vibrant community – a place that people want to come to and be a part of. That’s very rewarding.”
